After stopping at Drummond Island to clear customs, and pay our $27.50 reentry fee to get back in the US, we moved over to De Tour, Michigan and the state run marina.
De Tour village, MI is a town of 300 people. It had one post office, two restaurants, one bank, one bar and one grocery store. This is a carved statue of the Passage Keeper. An old sailor looking out over the lake keeping watch for the homeward bound ships.
The state run, almost brand new marina.
It's a huge marina, but we were one of less than ten boats in the whole marina.
ITHAKA all by herself.
