Cape May NJ to Mana Squad Inlet NJ

The Mana Squad Inlet is at Brielle NJ. We docked at Hoffman Marina. I can not recommend this marina. It is very busy, primarily caters to sport fishermen. It had a four knot current, and our assigned dock space was very close to a concrete railroad bridge. A loud siren alerts boats to the raising of the railroad bridge. The heavy boat traffic in the area was entertaining but, constantly waked our boat. Our trip 3 miles out on the Atlantic Ocean today was a smoother ride with less rocking and rolling than our time at Hoffman Marina.

The pictures below show the traffic jam waiting for the railroad bridge to open. We were docked parallel to the traffic lane, nearly up against the concrete railroad bridge. The boat parade past us was busier than "Ego Alley".

One more day on the ocean and we will reach NYC. The plan is to dock at Liberty Landing in Jersey City NJ and ferry across to Manhattan.

Jack's cousin Cindy and her husband Mark will visit us there as well as my daughter Erin and her three children John, Ben, Katie. Good Times!!!
